We are passionate about

helping children and teens to learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in a practical, engaging, and playful way. We use LEGO® Education Spike Prime kits, different coding platforms, experiments, sensors, nature-based solutions, and technologies for children to build, explore, analyze, and create their own solutions. In our classes, students develop problem-solving skills, learn to collaborate in a team, acquire engineering and scientific thinking, experiment and analyze data, and connect what they learn with real life. We believe that children learn best by doing; therefore, each lesson is practical, interactive, and based on real experience. STEM lab’s mission is to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators.

Juta

Environmental engineering researcher and PhD candidate, a STEM CEO and education methodologist with experience in sustainability, climate technologies, and the development of practical learning activities for children and young people.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration & Management, Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management, and currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Engineering. Certified in non-formal education programs development and facilitation

Edgar

Co-founder of STEM lab, an environmental engineering PhD researcher, entrepreneur, and innovation developer with extensive experience in technology, sustainability, and innovation projects. In STEM lab lessons, Edgars helps children develop curiosity, confidence, and the courage to experiment and explore new ideas.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management, and currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Engineering

Justin

Creative and curious student with a strong interest in technology, photography, and the digital world. He is passionate about photography, video creation, and working with digital tools. At the STEM lab he supports activities by developing LEGO models and creating instructions that help our students to experience science and technology in an engaging and modern way.
Education: student, studying advanced mathematics, electronics, and engineering
